Thinking Activity on Robinson crusoe in context of A Grian Of Wheat 


In Robinson crusoe, Robinson is master and Friday is slave. He becomes slave because Robinson saves his life. And Robinson believes in cristinity. That's why he also taught cristinity to Friday. And then Friday also believes in cristinity. And Robinson becomes colonizer and Friday becomes colonized.

 For Friday island is native land. But he is under the controll of Robinson. For Robinson Island is not his native land. But he has a power to control and rule on that island. On his native place he does not feel safe with his native people. But he feel safe with Robinson. He becuse his native people attacks on him. At that time Robinson saves him. He is ready to become a slave of Robinson. He is native person. But Robinson is outsider. And he controls the island. He becomes ruler. And he developes island. So outsider becomes the ruler and controls native people. And outsider becomes colonizer and native people becomes colonized.


In grain of wheat same things happens. Outsider rules on native people. And In Robinson crusoe, Friday is native people, but he gives support to Robinson. He becomes a slave of Robinson. And In Grian of wheat, Mugo is native people, he gives a support to Britisher. Britishers are outsiders. And they ruled on native people.
