    We have workshop on cultural studies by Kalyani Vallath on 27-12-19 at English Department, MKBU. Mam came from Kerala. Mam done her Ph. D in Canada. Mam have deep knowledge about cultural studies. We enjoy this seesion. Mam gives different examples, and explains very well.

Mam said that cultural studies is about us. Mam gives example of F. R Leavis, The Tempest by Shakespeare, And mam also talks about the essay written by Matthew Arnold "Culture and Anarchy".

Mam gives different examples, that examples connected with our daily life's experience, so it becomes easy to find connections, and understand. We visits different places, amd and we understand others culture and their life style. Through this experience we learn a lot about other cultures.

It is very beneficial and useful event.

Different culture have their own values and systems, when we visits that place at that time we learns many new things. Mam said that cultural studies is about us and everything relates with cultural studies. And mam also said that "Travel transformers you". Mam talks about American culture and also talks about the culture of Canada.

* Advantages :- 

Through this activity we learn about language lab. And we get new words and learns new techniques. We learn phonetics, and we can practice also in software. Sometimes some easy exercises are there, at that I enjoyed learning process. We also learn how software woks.

* Disadvantages :- 

It takes a time to learn. And in software many passwords are there that's why it becomes difficult to remember. And many instructions are there that's why it becomes boring. Sometimes answers becomes more confusing because two similar answers are there that's why it becomes difficult to choose one.

I find new words and I learn different techniques through this software. And it's helpful in learning process. And it shapes our knowledge in better way.

* Comparison :- 

language lab. And in mobile app it becomes easy to learn because we learn at home also. And in software we have to work in lab compulsory. And we can practice voice exercises in software, but can not practice voice practices in mobile app. In mobile app it becomes easy, to works because there is no password, but in software many passwords are there. 

In both Videos and transcripts is also available, so it becomes useful. Over all I like both, and I enjoyed the learning process. And it becomes helpful to improve our vocabulary and our knowledge.
